A Tuttle Lost in Translation
Day 1 to Day 1 to Day 3

I left the hovel of Townsville in the wee hours of the early morn when no creature – man nor beast – should be stirring, alas this is a fair tale and how else do they begin but in escapes at the breaking of dawn. So I boarded the Dragon de Metalica, tamed many years before my time, and flew to Brisbane where I was to board an elder Dragon to traverse the world in endless darkness to land in the realm of the gigantica McMeal, which has for many eons enslaved the local populous of the USA. On landing in the USA my travel sack was unceremoniously taken from me and I was told it would reach its destination in Santiago, Chilie… I was going to Mendoza, Argentina… Ahhhrg!

Now filled with dread at the fate of my travel sack – left wondering if some fae Dragon hostess was to take all my possessions – I explored the Cavernous home of the Dragons avoiding the temptation of the Golden Arches. I am unsure whether it is the fault of some magic held in the smog of the city or if the local people’s sense of direction is only so-so. Either way I ended up traversing a vast majority of the Dragon’s cavern, gloriously decorated with the colours of its resident nation, before finally reaching the little chicos who were to take me to the next Dragon where I was to fly once more through endless night to reach Santiago, a stop off on my way to the final destination.

In Santiago I was reassured by a elderly wizard who directed the Dragons path not to threat about my luggage as the QANTAS Dragons were part of a greater group calling themselves The One World Dragons and that all of their passengers luggage was enchanted to ensure it safely made its way to the final destination. Slightly reassured, I rested in the safety of the Santiago Cave and after buying refreshments, using primarily sign language and descriptive grunts, I used my portable window to connect with the local magical fields and contact the Face book – a magical well which absorbs the inner souls of people and displays them for all who are given access. Using this Face book I was able to connect with the Boy whom I left behind (a moment for you the reader to make a forlorn sigh). After much conversation I was re-energised and ready to take on the final leg of this querulous trip to Mendoza. I will write again when I have landed and am able to!

Declan.
